Briefly: Last year’s Academy Award winners Meryl Streep, Jean Dujardin, Octavia Spencer and Christopher Plummer will return to the Oscars to present at this year’s award ceremony.

“We are honored to have Meryl, Octavia, Christopher and Jean, last year’s Oscar winners in each of the acting categories, return to the Oscar stage,” said Oscar show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

Last year, Streep won for Best Lead Actress for The Iron Lady, Dujardin won Best Lead Actor for The Artist, Spencer won Best Supporting Actress for The Help, and Plummer won for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Beginners.

Other stars set to appear who’ve been announced in recent weeks include Mark Wahlberg and Ted, and performances from Barbara Streisand, Adele and Norah Jones. There will also be tributes to James Bond and movie musicals.

The 85th Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on February 24 from Hollywood.
