The film adaptation will be titled The Great Machine and is being made by Legendary Pictures. It’s likely that the name has been changed due to the popular Ex Machina movie that was released in 2014, which Oscar Isaac also starred in!

The Great Machince will be penned by Anna Waterhouse and Joe Shrapnel. On top of starring in the project, Oscar Isaac will also serve as a producer alongside Jason Spire, who he worked with on Operation Finale.

The Ex Machina comic series premiered in 2004 under the DC Comics imprint Wildstorm. The series follows Mitchell Hundred, who Isaac will portray. Hundred is a former superhero who wins the role of mayor of New York City shortly after the tragic 9/11. The character has the ability to speak to mechanical devices.

The Great Machine isn’t the only exciting project Oscar Isaac has in the works. He is also set to star in the highly anticipated Dune and Big Gold Brick with Megan Fox and Lucy Hale later this year.
