At the Orphan Black panel we saw a lot of heartfelt moments and emotional stories, but we also learned a couple of facts that might be coming up in season 3!

There were moments that definitely had us tearing up in the panel with fans telling Maslany about how they came out to their parents after watching Orphan Black, and the clone club giving Maslany her own acting award, there was just as much excitement in that room as there was emotion.

Graeme Manson, one of the co-creators on the show, revealed that the writers have thought about bringing on Alison’s mother to the show. Their preferred actor for the role? None other than Catherine O’Hara, whom you might recognize from movies like Bettlejuice or Home Alone. We totally agree that if we do get to see Alison’s mother come on the show, that is who we want to play her!

And do you remember that little romance Helena had with Jesse in season 2? Of course you do. Well, Kristian Bruun ran into Patrick J. Adams, who plays Jesse, at a restaurant one night and Adams mentioned how he would love to come back to the show. Does this mean that we’ll get some more romance for Helena in season 3? We’re hoping so, since last we saw her she got kidnapped by the U.S. Military’s Project Castor. Someone give that clone a break.

Those were some of our favorite reveals from this year’s Orphan Black Comic-Con panel, but be sure to check out the interview we did with the cast where we chat with Tatiana Maslany, Dylan Bruce, Jordan Gavaris, Ari Millen, Kristian Bruun and Maria Doyle Kennedy!
