The Orphan Black season 3 finale airs tonight and in it we know that Rachel Duncan is being held captive by someone, and the original source of the Leda and Castor clones speaks up.
Last week on ‘Orphan Black
Sarah, Mrs. S and Felix went all the way to London to find the original based off the nursery rhyme in Duncan’s book and discovered Kendall Malone — Mrs. S’ mother. Turns out she was a prisoner back in the ’70s-’80s and Duncan came around the prison looking for a viable donor and found her.
Meanwhile, back home, Cosima discovered that Shay wasn’t the Castor mole but instead it was Gracie, who only betrayed them because Castor told her she could be with Mark if she did. Unfortunately for Cosima and Shay, Delphine was already in the middle of interrogating Shay when she got the news so now Shay is basically scared as heck.
This week Rachel Duncan returns
Not only are we going to find out more about Kendall and the fact that she’s the original but we’re also going to see Rachel Duncan return to our screens, but not in the way we expected.
The synopsis for the episode reads, “As Clone Club races towards the truth, Castor and Topside force Sarah to make uneasy alliances. But there is some rest for the wicked, when Donnie gives Helena an unexpected ‘gift,’ and the results of Alison’s candidacy finally come in. Even as team Leda takes a moment to breathe, change is afoot and a life hangs in the balance.”
Interestingly enough, Rachel isn’t even mentioned in the synopsis, but she’s one of the clear focuses in the episode trailer.
What does this mean for Ms. Duncan? Does her fate hang in the balance? You’ll have to watch to find out!
