Orphan Black season 2 has a few new cast members, and today we finally get to see their faces. Check out who’s playing who next season on Orphan Black.

Earlier this year we told you about a couple new characters that Orphan Black created for the second season, and now they’ve finally cast both characters and even added a third.

Cal Morrison, the ruggedly handsome woodsman,is an intelligent and surprisingly emotional guy who lives off the grid and keeps to himself. He will be played by Michiel Huisman, known for his role as Liam in Nashville.

We also get a bit more information from the casting announcement, and learn that Cal has a sixth sense about people and situations. He’ll need all his wits and humanity as he crosses paths with the clones, and his journey will be fraught with surprise, danger, and revelations he could never see coming. Oh my!

The second character is Henrik “Hank” Johanssen, previously described as a leader of a radical faith based on the Prolethean sect, who is extremely anti-science. Peter Outerbridge, of Nikita fame, will be playing Johanssen. Interestingly enough Orphan Black has further developed his character to be more than just a leader of a radical faith.

The announcement described Johanssen as a mercurial modern-day cowboy. He’ll lead a flock of followers that have broken away from the old world “Prolethean” brotherhood. Under his messianic vision, the age old divide between science and religion has merged, forming a new and formidable threat.

And lastly, the new character! Played by Ari Millen, from Rookie Blue and Nikita, Mark is a cunning predator with a dark edge. He is utterly devoted to Johanssen, who took him in and built him into a true believer in the cause. Now, guided by twisted morality and desperate faith, he’s a relentless and dogged pursuer of the clones.

It seems that now not only will our clones have to deal with Doctor Leeki and his neolutionist ideas, but also a group of people related to the Prolethean brotherhood, hellbent on destroying the clones. We’re excited to see how these new characters come into the story on Orphan Black season 2.

What do you think of the new ‘Orphan Black’ characters?

Orphan Black season 2 will return this coming April, with no date set as of yet for the premiere.
