Orphan Black season 2 is just over a month away and now all sorts of new information is coming in – like the identity of a new clone! Check out Tatiana Maslany’s excellent acting in a new video clip, new stills and new episode synopses from season 2!

First, let’s take a look at the brand new season 2 Orphan Black poster released by BuzzFeed.

What’s amazing about this poster is the amount of detail in it: Alison is standing on Ainsley’s scarf, Kiera is drawing pictures of Helena, Sarah, and Alison, Art is holding his badge, Delphine has Cosima’s DYAD file, and Mrs. S is as dangerous as ever with her shot gun.

We’re sure that there’s also subliminal messaging going on, like the fact that Cal is the only one in the poster who is mostly in shadows. Is that a hint that he might be playing for the dark side? We’ll have to wait for season 2 of Orphan Black to find out!

Up next, we’ve got new stills from the second season to share, thanks to Entertainment Weekly.

With the new stills we get a deeper look at the Proletheans, led by Henrik “Hank” Johannsen. While the war between science and religion was relevant in Helena’s case last season on Orphan Black, the Proletheans are going to be far more prominent in the second season.

The show creators, Graeme Manson and John Fawcett, say that “season 2 will hit the ground running,” and they might have meant it literally! We love the still of Sarah running in the street, but it makes us worried for her safety – she better have looked both ways before crossing.

Next up, we have a new clone to tell you about! If you’re looking to avoid spoilers about new clones, we recommend not continuing onward.

According to EW, the new clone’s name is Jennifer Fitzsimmons – a 28-year old teacher and swim coach from the midwest. If you think she looks familiar it’s because you’ve probably seen her face at the end of the Orphan Black season 2 trailer, when she was lying on a morgue slab.

Cosima gets introduced to Jennifer through a series of video diaries that Jennifer has kept, from her diagnosis up until what looks like could be the end of her life. Manson and Fawcett explain “Jennifer is a bright-eyed Midwestern pure of heart girl. [She] is a clone who was naïve, she didn’t know she was a clone, and was being monitored by her boyfriend. She gets sick, and with a kind of the version of the illness that Katja had. And of course, a version of the illness that Cosima has. Just that discovery alone is the kind of discovery that shakes Cosima. It really rattles her.”

Below is the still of Jennifer released from season 2, and under that we’ve provided the sneak peek look at her video diaries. The comparison between post-diagnosis Jennifer and post-treatment is stark.

And if that wasn’t enough to quench your thirst for more Orphan Black, we have the synopses for the first four episodes of season 2! Obviously beware, since there will be small spoilers ahead.
