Although we won’t be getting more Orphan Black action until April of next year, we’re still getting scoops on who we’ll be seeing when the show comes back.

No, unfortunately these new additions aren’t clones. E! Online recently reported two male characters will be joining Orphan Black for its second season, and we can expect them both to be appearing in more than one episode.

The first character is Cal, an intelligent and surprisingly emotional woodsman who lives off the grid and keeps to himself, who is an artist at his core, but has been burned before. Yikes! Are we the only ones who think Snow White status here?

We wonder how Cal will incorporate himself into the mystery that is Neolutionism and the clones. What will bring an off the grid woodsman into the lives of Sarah, Allison and Cosima? We’ll have to wait to find out!

The second character can be more easily put into our characters’ situation. Pastor Johanssen, a leader of a radical faith based on the Prolethean sect, who is extremely anti-science, will also be joining this next season.

Perhaps Pastor Johanssen would have been working in leagues with Tomas, who’d raised Helena into the murderous clone that she was. We’re intrigued to see how this radical faith will be introduced on Orphan Black, seeing as we already got a bit of an insight already.

We can make so many crackpot theories and ideas about how these characters will be introduced and how vital they’ll be, but we know that no matter what we come up with the crew of Orphan Black will surely make it epic!

Are you excited for these new characters on ‘Orphan Black’?

Orphan Black will return this coming April with a brand new 10 episode run. Be sure to stayed tuned and follow our Orphan Black category for all the latest news and updates!
