It has been almost two months since Orange Is The New Black’s sophomore season went live, and many of us are suffering from intense withdrawal symptoms. However, the cast and crew of the Netflix Original Series are already filming season 3.

With production well underway, a few interesting tidbits made their way out of Litchfield Correctional Facility and into the world wide web. Here’s what we know so far:

No Pornstache

The CO we all love to hate will not be a part of the third season. Pablo Schreiber will star in The Brink, a HBO comedy series, alongside Jack Black and Tim Robbins. As memorable as George Mendez may be, Schreiber was never a series regular on the show, so we can’t blame him for jumping ships. He even tweeted a little something to calm down the fans.

Here’s to hoping for a return in season four!

New cast members: Blair Brown and Mary Steenburgen

Fringe alum Blair Brown, will join the show in a still unknown part. Meanwhile, Mary Steenburgen is reportedly playing the role of Mendez’ mother. How that will work out without Pornstache himself on the show is a bit of a mystery, but given the show’s structure, we might see her in some flashbacks.

Laura Prepon spills on Piper and Alex’s relationship

We all know Prepon will be back as a series regular, but now we know for sure that she is indeed coming back to prison. According to Prepon, who spoke to TV Guide, we can expect a lot more drama between the two (ex) lovers.

On how Alex will react when she finds out it was Piper who got her back in prison: (spoiler alert: not well)

“Alex sees through her bulls—,” Laura Prepon says. “When Alex does find out, she’s going to know why [Piper] did it and it will be really interesting.”

And then there was this tweet about a month ago:

Bring on the drama!

Jason Biggs wants a Larry Spin-off (a.k.a. everyone’s worst nightmare)

No, actually, that’s just Jason Biggs, being Jason Biggs, so, don’t worry, it’s not going to happen. He did however hold a very lengthy chat with the real-life Larry.

Larry Smith writes about how absurd it is to watch some of his own memories being translated into television, and makes note of the non existent popularity of the Larry character.

The high school daughter of a former colleague wanted me to know that I’m “way cooler than Larry Bloom.”

We’ll just have to take her word for it. You can read the entire article, including the chat between Jason Biggs and Larry Smith, right here.

In case you missed it, the first season of the show got twelve (!) Emmy nominations, including nods to Taylor Schilling (Piper), Kate Mulgrew (Red), Laverne Cox (Sophia), Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes) and Natasha Lyonne (Nicky).

Now you’re all caught up with Orange news! Only ten more months till season three!
