One Direction will add another big venue to their list of performances come winter. The British/Irish band is set to headline the prestigious Madison Square Garden Dec. 3.
“We are so happy to be playing Madison Square Garden,” One Direction’s Niall Horan says. “To be headlining our own show in a venue that has played host to countless legendary acts that we have grown up listening to and adore is obviously a dream come true for us all.”
The show will finish off the band’s North American tour – a tour that sold out in minutes. One Direction’s Kids’ Choice Awards performance was a hit among fans, including Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Ashley Tisdale.
The X Factor UK alums will be performing on Saturday Night Live and Nick’s iCarly April 7.
