One Direction closes out the summer with an epic camping trip – jumping into lakes and drenching each other with water guns – in the “Live While We’re Young” music video.

Originally slated for a Sept. 24 radio premiere, the British-Irish boy band moved up the release of both the single and video after the new song leaked online Thursday. “Live While We’re Young” will be available on iTunes on Oct. 1, however.

Watch as Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson roll around in water walking balls, play guitars, shoot soccer balls and party around a campfire while singing:

“Lets go crazy, crazy, crazy until we see the sun. I know we only met, but lets pretend it’s love. And never, never, never stop for anyone. Tonight let’s get some and live while we’re young.”

“Live While We’re Young” is the lead single off the boy band’s upcoming second studio album, Take Me Home, out Nov. 13. If you can’t get it out of your head already, it’s probably because the boys of 1D reunited with “What Makes You Beautiful” and “One Thing” writers, Savan Kotecha, Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk.

The band also worked with Ed Sheeran, McFly frontman Tom Fletcher, Dr. Luke, Shellback and Toby Gad on the follow up to their debut album, Up All Night – which has sold more than 1 million copies in the U.S. since its debut in March.

The band took home the MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist, Best Pop Video and Most Share-Worthy Video earlier this month.

One Direction has one more show left in the U.S. this year – a sold-out concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in December. They’ll return to the U.S. in June 2013 as part of their world tour.

What do you think of “Live While We’re Young”? How does it compare to the band’s other hits “What Makes You Beautiful” and “One Thing”?
