One Direction slows things down in its new single, “Little Things.”

With the writing help of Ed Sheeran, who also contributed to the band’s first album, One Direction has the second single off upcoming sophomore album, Take Me Home.

“Little Things” is a stark contrast to the lively “Live While We’re Young” with just a guitar to accompany the X Factor U.K alums’ raw vocals.

“I know you’ve never loved the sound of your voice on tape/ You never want to know how much you weigh/ You still have to squeeze into your jeans/ But you’re perfect to me,” croons the British-Irish band.

“I won’t let these little things slip out of my mouth/ But if I do/ It’s you/ Oh it’s you they add up to/ I’m in love with you/ And all these little things,” they sing in the chorus.

Take Me Home, due Nov. 13, follows 2011’s Up All Night, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (something no other British band had been able to do with a debut album) and produced hit singles in “What Makes You Beautiful” and “One Thing.”

One Direction will rock New York’s Madison Square Garden Dec. 3 before kicking off their second world tour in February 2013. They’ll return to North America in June 2013.
