Once Upon a Time will return tonight with an encore episode of “The Miller’s Daughter” that fans may want to tune in for!

Tonight, Sunday, April 7, Once Upon a Time will be airing an encore presentation of 2×16 “The Miller’s Daughter” with an added bonus of on-screen facts and back stories about the characters, according to Broadway World.

In “The Miller’s Daughter”:

Mary Margaret is once again tempted by dark magic while the rest of her family rally to protect a dying Mr. Gold whose life is threatened by Cora, who wishes to become the Dark One. In the Enchanted Forest that was, Rumpelstiltskin offers to help a young Cora – for a price – when the king calls her bluff on being able to spin straw into gold.

This is the episode where Rose McGowan debuts as young Cora, the daughter of the miller who tricks her way into a marriage with the prince. When she can’t quite do what she says she can, Rumpelstiltskin offers her a deal she just can’t refuse.

The episode saw a relationship blossom before our eyes between Cora and Rumpel. It was also the episode that saw Cora’s demise at the hands of her own daughter, when Snow White tricked Regina into returning Cora’s heart to her body, which Snow had cursed earlier in the episode. Many fans enjoyed this episode and praised McGowan as young Cora.

There’s no word yet as to what sort of things will be revealed about Cora in this encore episode of “The Miller’s Daughter,” but Broadway World says it will, “include text on the screen and will ‘let viewers in’ on clues within the show.”

It sounds like this episode will highlight some of the Easter eggs the show’s creators often like to throw in there. It could be fun to see how many you missed the first time around!

Don’t forget that Once Upon a Time will return to our screens on April 21 with “Lacey.”
