See the first three sneak peeks released for Sunday’s episode of Once Upon a Time, which will flash back to when the characters arrived in Storybrooke!

“Welcome to Storybrooke” will feature our very first Storybrooke flashback, as Regina looks back to the time when she first brought the fairytale characters to our world.

Check out the three preview clips released for this episode below, that show both flashbacks and the present day:

In the first clip, Regina is mourning the death of her mother Cora when Rumpelstiltskin arrives. While she thinks he’s there to gloat, he tells her that, “I came to pay my respects. We had our differences, but Cora will always have a place in my heart.”

Regina has a good point though when she says, “you killed her to save your own life.” And she shows Rumpel (and the viewers) that she is very much out for revenge, saying that Mary Margaret “is going to die for what she did.”

Next up is a flashback scene, featuring Mary Margaret teaching in the school and having a vague flash of memory when she tells the kids that, “if you love them and they love you, they will always find you.”

Regina arrives to ask her how long she’s been a teacher, maybe to check that the curse is in place, and Mary Margaret uncertainly replies, “I’m not sure, as long as I can remember.” This satisfies Regina, but she still needs one more test: she takes Mary Margaret to the hospital to visit a comatose David, and as we know (but it’s still sad to watch), she doesn’t remember him.

In the final clip, Gold arrives at David and Mary Margaret’s place to tell them about Regina’s plan, and David demands that he help them figure out how to deal with her. “Why should I?” Gold asks, and David replies, “because aside from us being family now, Mary Margaret saved your life. And you owe her a debt. And you always pay your debts, don’t you?” You tell him, David!
