The Dark Ones are looking for a living sacrifice in Storybrooke. Who will they choose on tonight’s Once Upon a Time season winter finale?

Delay Notice: Once Upon a Time fans tuning in for the east coast airing of tonight’s winter finale can expect a delay in the broadcast to make room for an address from President Obama.

Once Upon a Time season 5, episode 11, “Swan Song,” is paying dues to the dead. If Storybrooke thought that Dark Hook was a major problem, just wait until all of the Dark Ones look for a soul ripe for sacrifice. Hook’s connection with the Underworld is not the only journey into the world of lost souls we’ll see tonight. In a flashback to the Enchanted Forest, the pirate will face a demon he tried to put out of his mind for quite some time — his father.

Hook and Regina cross paths in the Enchanted Forest in hopes of striking a deal that will benefit both parties.

Rumpel has not only lost his courage, his magic, and the love of his life, but he has lost the will to fight. Instead of rallying the troops to batten down the hatches and devise a plan, Gold advises the town to bid farewell to the ones they love. What a downer!

Luckily, Emma is sticking to her mission to take down the darkness, even if it means sacrificing herself, or the man she loves, in order to do it.

ICYMI: True love is dead and Once Upon a Time season 5 is better for it (opinion)

Hook’s ruthlessness in the presence of Darkness is about to cross a line no one expected. Can the pirate ever be saved? What will the cliffhanger be? How will we ever survive three months without Once Upon a Time?

Tune in to Once Upon a Time season 5, episode 11, “Swan Song,” tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
