Merlin and Guinevere are heading to Once Upon a Time season 5! Elliot Knight and Joana Metrass head to Camelot this fall.
The Camelot crew is nearly complete with Elliot Knight tapped to play Merlin and Jana Metrass in the role of Guinevere.
Also announced, Andrew Jenkins will play a the recurring role of Percival, one of King Arthur’s loyal knights.
Knight is known for his role as Aidan Walker on ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder. Metrass is a Portugese actress who will appear in movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E. later this year. They join the already cast Liam Garrigan as King Arthur and returning cast member Sinqua Walls as Lancelot.

Season 5 will focus on the quest to find Merlin and finally rid the world of the Dark One forever. At the close of last season, Emma Swan sacrificed herself in place of Regina to take on the dark spirit. Now that the dagger bears her name, she will be tested this season as her light magic mixes with her newfound darkness. It’s time for someone else to step into the Savior’s shoes, but who will it be?

Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, September 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC with “Dark Swan.”
