Once Upon a Time season 4 returns in one week! Did your hiatus play out something like this?

Congratulations, Oncers! With only one week left, we have every confidence that you can make it to the Once Upon a Time season 4B premiere! But what have the last nine weeks looked like exactly? If you are a fan of Once Upon a Time they probably looked a bit like this.

Week One: Denial

Source

It’s not going to be that bad! Ten weeks? That’s fine. There’s Christmas, New Years, plenty of things to make the time fly by. You can read those books collecting dust on your desk! Maybe write a fanfiction! The world is your oyster. Bring it on hiatus. Bring. It. On.

Week Two: Over-speculation

Source

With Ursula and Rumple together in New York City, it is only a matter of time before the rest of the Queens of Darkness are found. Maybe Cruella is working at a high end fashion magazine in midtown. And what about Maleficent? Perhaps she created a horcrux and Rumple knows how to bring her soul back to life.

Week Three: Binge Session

Source

Maybe your favorite couple hit it off this season. Maybe the Frozen plot line wasn’t as bad as you made it out to be. Either way you are determined to either affirm or change your views on the 12 episodes from Once Upon a Time‘s fall season. The best part of a rewatch is that you can fast forward everything you did not like. We’re looking at you, Gold, as you cry over Neal’s grave.

Week Four: Isolation

Source

With a rewatch under your belt you enter a hole of isolation. Your Tumblr like page and browser history is looking more and more like a shrine to your favorite couples and moments from the season. You have every moment cataloged in gif form, time stamps from your favorite scenes memorized, and you can’t help but scroll through a good tag search.

Week Five: Ship wars

Source

It’s time to get a little crazy about your favorite ship. Without any new material to analyze you spend a good chunk of time thinking of ways to inspire some hope into sinking ships, conjure up potential obstacles that will throw the Charming ship off course, and dabble in a few crack ships.

Week Six: All is lost

Source

It’s not even worth looking at a calendar anymore. Once Upon a Time is never coming back.

Week Seven: Bargaining

Source

OK, by this point Adam Horowitz has tweeted a few script teases, set photos have surfaced, and a tiny light appears at the end of the tunnel. Maybe this hiatus is not as bad as it seems. After all, shows are starting to make their winter debuts all over the place. Galavant was fun, right? And of course we’d rather wait an extra week than have one week off for The Oscars, right? Right.

Week Eight: Acceptance

Source

February is halfway over and March is right around the corner! Official synopses, posters, and stills are out. Once Upon a Time is coming.

Week Nine: Hope

Source

ONE WEEK LEFT. It really wasn’t as bad as you made it out to be, now was it?

Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 13, “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” FINALLY returns next Sunday, March 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
