Who knows what about who? That is the question on everyone’s mind as this week’s Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 17 draws near.

Double agents are popping up all over the place in Storybrooke as the hunt for Author heats up. But does everyone know that Regina is playing an act? Is Henry willing to give up his biggest lead just because Mom brings a few friends over? It looks that way in one sneak peek for this week’s Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 17, “Best Laid Plans.”

Watch the preview here:

With Operation Mongoose a complete mess, where does Henry fit in? It seems up until now he has had zero involvement with any of the other members of the team. Sure, it is dangerous out there, but it’s nothing compared to sticking around with Pan on Neverland for half a season. He may have failed at tricking the master when he went undercover at Gold’s shop, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have a second shot!

Meanwhile, in the Enchanted Forest of long ago, Snow and Charming are looking for any assurance that their baby will not take the path of evil. Sticking with Once Upon a Time‘s knack for mixed up timelines, Snow and Charming take a trip to the future in the past of long ago, which shows them a glimpse of what life will be like for Emma.

Watch here:

Charming gets the better image of a beautiful baby girl, but Snow witnesses a young adult willing to take her mother’s heart an crush it. The future is unpredictable, but that image will most likely cloud Snow’s judgement and lead them to take drastic measures.

Back in the present, Mary Margaret and David are playing for the heroes, but also on their own team. They have two operatives. One, get Regina her happy ending and put an end to Gold’s plan. Two, protect Emma from the secrets of their past. Emma may not know which side her heart belongs on after that cat is let out of the bag. After all, Hook did warn Emma that Gold plans to turn her heart over to complete darkness.
