The first seven minutes of Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 1 have been released online! Find out how Frozen is introduced, and more.

ABC has released a seven-minute long clip from the Once Upon a Time season 4 premiere episode, “A Tale of Two Sisters.” To access this clip, you must log in to their website with your cable provider information.

At the moment, a version of this video also exists on YouTube, though we’re sure it won’t be long before that clip is taken down! So head over to ABC.go.com, or read our description of the first seven minutes below!

The episode opens with a shipwreck – the one that killed Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail)’s parents in Frozen. What appears to be their mother enters the cabin and begins writing a note, as her husband comes in and asks what she’s doing.

“I have to finish this!” she says. “They have to know. We might not make it home… but this could.” The pair drop the bottled letter over the side of the ship, their mother saying, “Anna and Elsa must know the truth. It’s the only thing that could save them.”

The ship succumbs to the waves, and we jump forward five years to Arendelle, where Anna and Elsa are visiting their parents’ graves. Elsa tells Anna that their parents would be proud of her, following which Anna says, “Both of us, Elsa.”

We are seeing the aftermath of the events of the Frozen movie here, after Anna saves Elsa (and herself), and gets engaged to Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster). Elsa says she has a surprise for Anna’s wedding.

Jumping once again, we are now in present-day Storybrooke, where Elsa makes her way out of the barn, a trail of ice behind her. She looks confused and uncertain as she approaches the city sign, which proceeds to freeze over.

Regina exists Granny’s Diner, upset about the reunion between Robin and Marian. Emma follows her out, and tries to apologise. “Once again I felt the brunt of heroism. Always the villain, even when I’m not,” Regina laments.

Emma explains that she saved Marian from Regina herself, and Regina replies, “The woman who did that… that was the person I was, not the person I am. I worked very hard to build a future… a future that’s now gone.”

Robin then takes Marian out to meet Regina. Cue the most awkward meeting of all time, in which Marian discovers that Regina and Robin are together – and doesn’t take it very well!

David and Mary Margaret join the fray with baby Neal, and Marian’s confusion about everyone’s friendliness towards Regina grows. Regina leaves, and they worry that her evil might return.

Grumpy and Sleepy are driving in the woods, when Sleepy falls asleep and almost runs over Elsa, who freezes the car in her surprise.

Wow! What an intro. We can’t wait to see what happens next, as Elsa continues to make her way to Storybrooke.

Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 1 “A Tale of Two Sisters,” airs this Sunday at 8/7c on ABC.
