An extended trailer for Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 1 “A Tale of Two Sisters,” has been released. See what’s new!

The Once Upon a Time season 4 premiere is nearing fast, and in a new extended promo you get a few new glimpses of what we can expect when Frozen hits Storybrooke:

In the trailer, the voiceover announces, that Frozen characters Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail), “Join Sunday’s most enchanting drama when the town of Storybrooke gets frozen over.”

We see Elsa and Anna in a flashback, followed by Elsa telling someone, “I’m the queen” (it looks like she’s speaking to Prince Charming in a flashback – what do you think?).

We also see a modern-day Regina telling the Magic Mirror (Giancarlo Esposito) that, “she needs to be removed.” But is she talking about Elsa… or Robin Hood (Sean Maguire)’s newly returned wife Marian (Christie Laing)?

Yesterday we released a lengthy synopsis from ABC which detailed some of the upcoming season 4 storylines.

We learned that Regina would be struggling to define her relationship with Robin following the revelation that his wife was still alive.

The synopsis also revealed that Elsa is scared and confused when she arrives in Storybrooke, and might not be able to fully control her powers. So… maybe someone (say, Rumpel or Regina) will attempt to use her as a puppet in order to further their own agenda?

In the first episode, the Storybrooke residents will have to face Elsa as a new threat, as she creates a snow monster to protect herself. Although the trailer seems to confirm that the fairytale characters know her from their past life in the Enchanted Forest.

How, exactly, was Elsa connected to Snow White, the Evil Queen and Rumpelstiltskin in the past? Could it be that the source of her power is somehow connected to one of them? We can’t wait to find out.

Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 1 “A Tale of Two Sisters,” airs Sunday, September 28 at 8/7c on ABC.
