Coffee and morning strolls to work may be a thing of the not so distant past after this week’s Once Upon a Time. TV Guide released a sneak peak clip from this week’s Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 14, “Unforgiven,” where Hook pays Emma a lunchtime visit, but leaves without hope for dessert.
Not only will Emma have to face a hidden secret from Hook, but her parents have a lot to answer for in the latter half of season 4. After their clandestine meeting with Ursula and Cruella under the guise of night, a secret from their past encounters in the Enchanted Forest are bound to reveal a side of the Charming couple that does not vibe with Emma’s Savior bloodline.

With all these dark secrets and lies it seems like Emma will have to question everything she knows about herself and the people around her. As we saw last week, the Chernabog paid attention to Emma’s potential for evil as much as it targeted Regina. Is she truly set to stay on track for a heroic life? Or is there a bot more darkness under her light magic waiting to erupt?
Before Emma can turn her full attention to working out her own personal pull toward the dark side, she must first continue helping Regina find a way to achieve her happy ending. The search continues to find the author when Regina, Emma, and Henry look to Marco and Pinocchio for any clues about the Author. Perhaps they have some information that will set their course in a new direction.
