With most of the Once Upon a Time characters heading to Neverland in season 3, expect to see a lot of Peter Pan and his Lost Boys!

TV Line reports that 17-year-old actor Robbie Kay is the first Lost Boy to join the cast of Once Upon a Time.

Kay’s character name has not yet been revealed, but since he will have a recurring role in season 3 of the ABC drama, we expect it’s only a matter of time.

This isn’t Kay’s first fairytale character role either; in 2008, Kay played the titular character in the Pinocchio miniseries. He also had a role in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

At least we can rule out Kay playing Rufio. Once Upon a Time is still looking for an actor to play the infamous character first created for the 1994 Peter Pan adaptation Hook.

The casting of Peter Pan has not been announced either, although we suspect that an actor has already been chosen for the pivotal role. Perhaps it will even be announced at the Once Upon a Time Comic-Con panel?

Once Upon a Time season 3 premieres Sunday, September 29, airing at 8/7c on ABC. The first episode is titled “The Heart of the Truest Believer.”

Updated: It has been confirmed that Robbie Kay is in fact playing Peter Pan, not a Lost Boy!
