The latest batch of stills from Once Upon a Time bring back a fan-favorite, young Cora, and show Zelena’s disregard for true love. Check them out below!

This week’s Once Upon a Time season 3, episode 18, “Bleeding Through,” takes another look at Zelena’s past, including Cora’s decision to give up her first born. Up until this point all that is known of Zelena’s journey in a tornado comes about because her birth prevents Cora from obtaining the royal life she desires.

Zelena’s jealousy of Regina is not only founded in her jealousy of receiving Rumpelstiltskin’s training, but also being chosen by Cora to stand by her as her one and only daughter.

The return of Rose McGowen as young Cora will hopefully answer some more questions!

Synopsis ‘Bleeding Through’

After Zelena steals Regina’s heart, Regina casts a spell so that she can speak across the realms to her dead mother, Cora, to discover the truth about why she abandoned Zelena, and Belle stumbles across what Zelena’s ultimate end game is. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, young Cora is duped by a man claiming to be a prince and finds herself alone and pregnant. But a chance meeting with a real prince could lead Cora to the royal life she’s always craved, but she must keep her pregnancy a secret or risk losing everything.

Belle is back on her A game in the book stacks, digging up some more dirt on Zelena’s master plan. One loophole in the plan to defeat Zelena is that she cannot succeed while Emma’s powers are in tact. Hook, charged with the task of draining Emma’s magic, still has to work his charms and get her to kiss his enchanted lips.
