A new Once Upon a Time season 3 sneak peek released at San Diego Comic-Con reveals that we’ll see Ariel (the Little Mermaid) this year!
Yesterday, a brand new teaser for Once Upon a Time season 3 was revealed to lucky San Diego Comic-Con attendees who attended the show panel.
It features Grumpy (Lee Arenberg) eating his lunch by the Storybrooke docks, when something eerily begins to sneak up on him from the water…
Lucky for him the thief is only after Grumpy’s shiny fork! Curiously, Ariel seems to be able to switch between tail and feet at will, walking to the water and then swimming away when Grumpy pursues her.
Doubtless, the next scene will be Ariel debating what people use the fork for with her fellow sea creatures – although we have to assume that she already knows, considering that she’d surely have been cursed like the rest of them until it was broken.
Unless, of course, Ariel somehow swam through the portal which Emma and the Charmings opened to Neverland when they sailed Captain Hook’s ship through?
Since we haven’t yet see her face, we can still speculate about casting. Who do you think should play Ariel in Once Upon a Time season 3?!
