In a new interview, Lana Parrilla talks about the extent to which Regina feels bad about the people she has killed, and if she really loves Henry.

Speaking to TV Overmind, Lana says that while it was necessary for Regina to kill Graham and her father,

Making the decision to kill her father wasn’t an easy decision [for the Queen] and you could see that it was hard for her.  Killing Graham was very similar [for Regina].  I think she really loved him, I think she really cared for him.  I think that making that choice was a very difficult one.  And that’s why we see her [acting] very emotional as she’s crushing the heart.

Speaking about Regina’s feelings for her son Henry, Lana is sure that Regina does love him:

I think ultimately her concern is really with Henry. Henry knows all. And we [the audience] know that he’s not crazy. I think she will do everything in her power to convince everyone around him that he is delusional. But I don’t think she has any intention of hurting her son. I just want to make that clear.
