Watch an interview with Once Upon a Time star Josh Dallas, who talks David’s agenda and teases the season 2 finale cliffhanger.

The Huffington Post has recently spoken with Dallas about his role as Prince Charming on Once Upon a Time, and the actor had some neat things to reveal about the episodes ahead.

See the video interview below:

In the interview, Dallas talks about the upcoming season 2 finale, saying, “Just like season 1, completely changes the game for all these characters. And it’s going to go someplace you just don’t expect it to go.”

He also talks about how he felt when the show first started, and admits the fairytale character adaptation he was most surprised about was Rumpelstiltskin and Belle’s, “because they hook up! And that’s not how we know them.”

Dallas goes on to say that he tries to live up to the “Prince Charming” status in real life, and thinks that, “it’s definitely an ideal that all men should aspire to. He’s brave, he’s honest, he’s loving, he’s compassionate, he’s everything that you would want a great human being to be.”

What do you say, Captain Hook fans? Do you agree?

As for David’s role in the remaining episodes, he says, “He’s still on this path to get back home, to rebuild it and make it better than it was, and I think he really believes he can. So we’ll see if he gets back there. A lot of things are coming into play and getting in the way of that.”

Finally, there is still no word on a third season of Once Upon a Time, but Dallas is hopeful. “There is still a lot more story to tell,” he says.

Once Upon a Time returns with “Lacey” on Sunday, April 21 at 8/7c on ABC.
