Snow and Charming take a stand for true love and fairytales on the cover of this week’s EW, which is available in stores now:

Stunning! Even though the image is of course highly photoshopped and almost makes Snow White and Prince Charming look like Barbie dolls, for this particular show it kind of works – as the characters are not quite real; fairytales come to life. Will you be picking up a copy of this magazine?

Inside the magazine, a feature about Once Upon a Time reveals some more details about what we can expect in the rest of season 2.

Most remarkably, the showrunners Adam Horowitz and Ed Kitsis preview what kind of fairytales, legends and fantastical stories they want to introduce, and mention both The Little Mermaid and Tron (yes, you read that right).

Further, Horowitz also warns fans that although true love and happy endings have seemed to be the order of the day for most of our main characters (RIP Graham!), “the stakes have to be real.” We can’t expect all the characters to make it out alive, or with a special someone in their lives. Says Horowitz, “we’ve pushed the envelope with these characters and what we’ve done so far is just the beginning.”

Are you as excited as we are for the big Captain Hook introduction this Sunday?! The episode “The Crocodile” will show Hook kidnapping Rumpelstiltskin’s wife, only for Rumpel to later seek out the pirate for revenge, after gaining his supernatural abilities.

The episode will air Sunday, at 8/7c on ABC.
