Once Upon a Time adds another witch to season 3 with the addition of Glinda. See who they chose and catch up on all casting news!
Once Upon a Time‘s yellow brick road heads South as they found their Glinda the Good Witch. TV Line reports that Sunny Mabrey (The Client List, Snakes on a Plane) will round out the casting call for season 3.
According to the casting call, Glinda is “elegant, warm, benevolent, clever and shrewd.” There are also hints that she has been living in isolation for quite some time, but she still holds her optimism above all her loneliness.
Creator’s Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis continue to shake up the fairytale world with their new spins on classic stories. So far this season they intertwined, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell’s Neverland captivity with a mermaid’s desire for a sea-faring prince. The spring premiere holds the promise of many more additions as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda open up the opportunity for more friends of Dorothy’s to stumble down the road.
This week we saw the first glimpse of Alexandra Metz’s Rapunzel. Her story line promises to be darker than the traditional tale. Also making an appearance this season are the young lover’s Cora (Rose McGowan) and Prince Leopold (Eric Lange).
