Once Upon a Time continues to add more characters to the ever growing cast! Find out who will play Belle’s mother Colette, and when she will arrive.

For the first time in a while, the Frozen news takes a back seat!

Once Upon a Time is making room for Belle’s story! Frances O’ Connor will take the role of Belle’s mother, Colette, and will make her debut in episode 6. O’ Connor is known for her roles in Mr. Selfridge, Bedazzled, and A.I. Artificial Intelligence.

Not much is known about the capacity of her role at this moment, but her importance in Belle’s life will leave the door open for her to return later in season 4. She will make her appearance through flashback moments.

A few days ago, Adam Horowitz revealed the title of episode 6 on his Twitter account:

The casting news may offer a bit more insight to the title, “Family Business.” Perhaps Belle and her mother have something to reveal. Horowitz mentions that, “For the first time, we’ll delve into Belle’s past pre-the encounter with Rumple.”

Viewers were made aware of the trials of Rumple’s past, and even the dark secrets he keeps from Belle in the present. Could both sides of the marriage be tainted by dark pasts?

At the close of season 3, Belle and Rumple wed in a private ceremony in the woods of Storybrooke. Belle believes that Rumple has given her the most sacred testament of love by handing her possession of the dagger that seals his fate. However, Rumple pulls a fast one on her and conceals the true dagger. Rumple will also face another member of his past when the Ice Queen, Elsa, makes her debut in Storybrooke. (Ok, we could not stay away from Frozen entirely!)

While the couple has some rough times ahead, Horowitz has hinted that the couple will enjoy their honeymoon phase a bit before Once Upon a Time drama takes over!

For now, focus on the lovely dance scene shown in the trailer!

Thanks, EW.

Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, September 28 with season 4, episode 1, “A Tale of Two Sisters” airing at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
