Sunday’s Once Upon a Time episode is hyped up to be a big one, and now you can read some new spoiler tidbits about what we can expect! Also check out the promotional images released.

Jane Espenson has spoken to Once Upon a Fan about what we can expect from the big Cora/Rumpelstiltskin flashback, saying that, “I hope [fans] will be more sympathetic” towards Cora after seeing the episode.

Speaking about Rumpelstiltskin, “I can say that Rumple has moments with at least three separate characters that will put a lump in your throat.”

On the upcoming season finale, she says she feels, “that same wonderful sense of satisfaction and culmination” as she felt ahead of the season 1 finale. “And I’m thrilled that there are some surprises coming up that I haven’t seen anyone guess yet!”

TV Line has spoken to Emilie de Ravin about a key RumBelle moment in the episode (which may or may not be one of the scenes released ahead of time as a sneak peek), and she teases that it might help Belle regain a spark of her old self, if not her memories. “This influx of hearing who you were or are, or even thinking about what you’re supposed to be, obviously sort of goes round and round and round in your mind,” she says.

So even though she doesn’t remember Rumpel right now, “there’s always going to be that connection with him in a certain respect.”
