Read what Once Upon a Time stars Jennifer Morrison, Colin O’Donoghue and Josh Dallas can tease about tonight’s “Into the Deep”!

Once Upon a Time returns after a one-week hiatus with “Into the Deep,” in which David will be asking Regina and Gold to put him under a sleeping curse so he can communicate with Snow White in the Red Room.

Speaking to the Huffington Post, Josh Dallas explains, “It’s this thing about true love, isn’t it? He makes this sacrifice and he goes into the Netherworld … he might not be able to get back out, but he needs to see her just one last time. I just think there is something so beautiful about that.”

Meanwhile in fairytale land, Hook will be trying to convince Cora that he always meant to bring her the compass. “I think he’s a very smart man,” Colin O’Donoghue says of his character. “He’s very clever. Basically, he’ll use her until he doesn’t have to any more.” On his alliance with Cora, he says, “I think Cora’s the same [as Hook]. Cora could easily kill Hook if she wanted to, but there’s also a kind of respect for each other’s evil, like, ‘I like the way this chick operates.'”

O’Donoghue also talks about Hook’s connection to Emma, calling the pair “kindred spirits,” and saying that Hook has respect for her. He says that, “there’s that camaraderie and also the combativeness of that, right away.” And yes, he’d be interested in seeing a romance between Hook and Emma. He says,  “I would like to see how somebody like Hook could be if they were to go that way in a relationship with someone. When revenge is such a big part of [his journey], I’d be interested to see how that might work.”

Jennifer Morrison, meanwhile, just hopes that, “Emma has some romance in her life … It’s been a while.”

Once Upon a Time 2×08 “Into the Deep” airs tonight at 8/7c on ABC!
