Read the brief descriptions for the upcoming Once Upon a Time episodes “Into the Deep” and “Queen of Hearts.”

ABC has released the following descriptions of the two episodes that both seem to focus on the enchanted forest storyline.

2×08 “Into the Deep”

Cora tries to steal the compass from Emma and Mary Margaret; Regina and Mr. Gold must put David’s life in danger in hope that he will contact Mary Margaret.

 2×09 “Queen of Hearts”

Hook and Cora face off with Emma and Mary Margaret in a race for the compass; Mr. Gold and Regina plan to kill anyone who enters the portal.

Well, now we know that Hook and Emma at least get the compass! But it seems like Hook really was on Cora’s side after all – or maybe he just gives him a better offer.

It is also established that David and Mary Margaret find a way to contact each other, even though it must be very risky if David would only do it if he thought he was dying.

Regina and Mr. Gold working as a team will be epic to watch, we’re sure. But why is Rumpel so against people entering the portal?
