In light of Valerie Harper’s diagnosis of incurable cancer, TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland has plans to reunite most of the cast of The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977). Comedy fanatics, rejoice.
Taping on April 5, the episode will bring Betty White, Valerie Harper, Mary Tyler Moore, Georgia Engel, and Cloris Leachman back together for the first time since the Mary Tyler Moore finale in 1977.
The actresses will play members of an old bowling team that White and Engel’s characters decide to reunite. The team is called GLOB, or The Gorgeous Ladies of Bowling. Harper’s character will be named Angie, Moore’s Diane, and Leachman’s Peg.
The episode is set to air this summer.
