After months of waiting, and just five short weeks of new episodes, the Suits season 4 finale airs tonight, and the skeletons are just dancing out of the closet.

Last week Harvey dropped a bomb that he cannot shy away from this week. And while it was a truth we all saw coming, it shakes the foundation that Harvey and Donna’s relationship was built on. But does it? Their relationship was built on trust and mutual respect and also Donna’s admitted love for him. This will change their dynamic but it might not ruin it.

But Harvey doesn’t have a great track record with women.

It’s always hard to believe when a season ends in the spring. For a show that has cemented itself in the season A/B formatting, it feels like we’ve already had two seasons in the span of a year. But no. We had the first 10 episodes of Suits season 4 – dealing with the FBI and the set up to season 4B, which was all about Louis’ relationship with the rest of the firm and the ever-changing power dynamics in Pearson Specter Litt.

The synopsis for the episode hints at more problems for the firm:

“When SEC investigator Sean Cahill fails to link his corrupt boss Eric Woodall and corporate raider Charles Forstman, Harvey must revisit his own uncomfortable past in order to find a way to put them away for good. Mike and Rachel confront the fact that, while Rachel is Harvey’s associate, Mike is his guy. And Donna helps Louis with an unexpected crisis.”
