This Sunday’s VMAs appear to be preparing to host a ‘N Sync reunion with all original five band members, according to a report.

According to the New York Post, the ‘N Sync reunion will feature Justin Timberlake alongside founding members J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick. The group were reportedly all together this past Friday in Miami at Timberlake’s concert.

Timberlake has been scheduled to appear at the VMAs for a performance. He’ll also be accepting an award.

We’ll be sure to share photos and videos of the N’Sync reunion if/when it occurs this Sunday.

N’Sync were last all together in 2004, two years after they announced their breakup. Their last album was Celebrity which dropped in July 2001.

Their final performance was at the 2004 Annual Challenge for the Children, where they sang “The Star Spangled Banner.”

The MTV Video Music Awards air Sunday, August 25 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific. Other stars scheduled to appear and perform include Lady Gaga with her first live performance of “Applause” and Katy Perry with her first live take on “Roar.”

What song would you like to see the boys perform at the ‘N Sync reunion?

Timberlake will debut Part 2 of The 20/20 Experience on September 30.
