This morning, the nominations for The American Country Awards were announced. Check after the jump to see which of your favorite country music singers were honored!
Congratulations are certainly in order for some of the biggest names in country music! Jason Aldean and the Zac Brown Band lead the pack with a solid 8 nominations each. Following them with 7 nominations is Thompson Square, and finally with 6 nominations each, both Taylor Swift and The Band Perry prove themselves to be strong contenders in the country music industry.
The show will air live on December 5th at 9 p.m from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Online voting begins today and will conclude on November 11th, except for Artist of the Year, which ends voting on December 2nd.
For those of you who aren’t aware, the first ever American Country Awards debuted last year. For the second show, they have managed to attract some great talent, having Broadway darling Kristin Chenoweth and country star Trace Adkins co-host the ceremony together!
