Emma Watson has exclusively revealed the final trailer for Noah, starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman, and Anthony Hopkins. Watch the new trailer which features loads of new footage.

Noah’s release date is just over two weeks away and in the final trailer, Emma Watson is shown with her boyfriend/husband running around the wilderness prior to the flooding of Earth.

Though the new footage from director Darren Aronofsky’s latest film continues to feel rather epic, it looks as though there will be a much more intimate story leading up to the highly anticipated flood. Watch the new trailer below via Emma Watson’s Twitter:

While the latest clips and trailers have felt like footage has just been swapped around, this new trailer appears to include about 90% new footage. The film looks grand in scale and we hope the large cast of big name actors works well together on screen.

Lately, director Darren Aronofsky’s Noah retelling has been under some heat. The film’s even been banned in a few countries, but the director has said that “there is no controversy.” The film has Aronofsky at the helm and he is a brilliant director, so we aren’t too concerned with the controversy over the film’s message.

We’ve included some tweets from the film’s pre-screenings. The reviews seem to be mixed, with some interesting details revealed:

The story centers around the title character’s mission to save his family after seeing visions of an inevitable apocalypse. Director Darren Aronofsky and Russell Crowe have promised an edgier take on the biblical tale.

We’re excited to see what this caliber of director is able to do with the tale of Noah. Aronofsky’s most recent film, Black Swan, went on to grab an Academy Award for Natalie Portman’s brilliant portrayal of a disturbed ballerina.

Noah is set to hit theaters March 28, 2014.
