We’ve been bringing you updates on the possibility of an Adam West cameo in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight rises, but now it seems that these rumors are false.

Apparently the former Batman, Adam West, was not in Nottingham for the shooting of The Dark Knight Rises but was actually attending the rehearsals of the play, Batman Live, which were taking place somewhere not too far from the city in England.

It looks like the rumors were fueled by one big coincidence.  Do you think this is just a ploy to silence the rumors, or will Adam West really not appear in The Dark Knight Rises?  Let us know below!
