The CW has released a batch of promotional stills from Nikita season 4, episode 5 “Bubble,” featuring a Mikita reunion.
Though the fourth season of Nikita is shortened, it’s still been a long road for Mikita fans as Michael has held onto his hurt from Nikita leaving him behind to go on the run. However, the return of an old adversary in episode 4 pushes Michael to reexamine his feelings, and it looks like he’s ready to reconnect with his ex-fiancée.

Judging from the stills, it also looks like Nikita’s name may be cleared, as she seems to be testifying in front of a Congressional committee as well as receiving some kind of official medal.
The official synopsis for the episode reads:
NIKITA’S WORLD UNRAVELS ── Just as Nikita (Maggie Q) is finally starting to see an end to the long war with The Shop, Ryan (Noah Bean) confesses a secret that could unravel it all. Meanwhile, Michael (Shane West) tries to get Nikita to accept their new circumstances as he contemplates what comes next for the two of them. Realizing Sam (Devon Sawa) was planning to steal her diamonds, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) gives him a suitcase of fake diamonds to deliver to her contact in France. Alex is surprised when he upholds his end of the bargain and doesn’t take off with the jewels. However, things get messy when Sam is jumped by the loan shark he owes money to, and Alex must step in to save him. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Oliver Grigsby (#405).
This synopsis sounds ominous, especially since this is the penultimate episode of the series. With so little time left, what kind of secret could Ryan have that could unravel everything?
