The CW has released a sneak peek from Nikita season 4, episode 2 “Dead or Alive” as well as the synopsis for episode 5 “Bubble.”

First, the clip from Nikita season 4, episode 2 “Dead or Alive”:

In this clip, we see Nikita, who took a bullet at the end of the previous episode, wake up on the airborne command center, her wound treated and Michael at her side. Though Michael remains cool, Nikita is also reunited with Birkhoff and Ryan, who are much happier in their reception.

According to the synopsis, this episode will feature the above reunion. While “Michael refuses to discuss their relationship,” he “tells Nikita she should stay with the group and let them help her clear her name.”

Meanwhile, in a very spi-fy twist, “Ryan realizes Amanda is making doubles of VIPs with The Shop’s help.” Though “one of the doubles is the Director of the FBI,” who we saw in the previous episode, Nikita “doesn’t know how to kill him without exposing herself.”

Elsewhere, the tables have turned between Alex and Sam as “Alex holds Sam at gunpoint and demands he return what he stole from her.” Things go south quickly though “when a gang of thugs attacks them” and “they are forced to work together to escape.”

Nikita season 4, episode 2 “Dead or Alive” airs Friday, November 29 at 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW.

The official press release has the following information about Nikita season 4, episode 5 “Bubble”:

NIKITA’S WORLD UNRAVELS ── Just as Nikita (Maggie Q) is finally starting to see an end to the long war with The Shop, Ryan (Noah Bean) confesses a secret that could unravel it all. Meanwhile, Michael (Shane West) tries to get Nikita to accept their new circumstances as he contemplates what comes next for the two of them. Realizing Sam (Devon Sawa) was planning to steal her diamonds, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) gives him a suitcase of fake diamonds to deliver to her contact in France. Alex is surprised when he upholds his end of the bargain and doesn’t take off with the jewels. However, things get messy when Sam is jumped by the loan shark he owes money to, and Alex must step in to save him. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Oliver Grigsby (#405).

This synopsis sounds ominous, especially since this is the penultimate episode of both the season and the series. With a lot of story left to wrap up in two episodes, what kind of secret could Ryan have that could unravel everything?

Will it be something that he found down one of his conspiracy theory rabbit holes or perhaps something more personal?

Nikita season 4, episode 5 “Bubble” airs Friday, December 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
