Get ready for Nikita‘s season 3 finale, titled “Til Death Do Us Part,” with the synopsis, stills, and promo below.

The official press release has the following information about the Nikita season 3 finale:

AMANDA PUTS HER FINAL PLAN INTO MOTION — Amanda (Melinda Clarke) forces Nikita (Maggie Q) into a life-threatening situation where she has to choose between saving Michael (Shane West) or saving herself. The team races to find a way to stop Amanda, but with a diminished Division, they might finally be out-gunned. Eagle Egilsson directed the episode written by Albert Kim (#322).

In the penultimate episode, Amanda left Nikita to make an impossible choice: kill the President of the United States or let her lover, Michael, die. No matter which option she chooses, though, Nikita will be kept from Michael.

We learned that Amanda has teamed up with The Shop, a secret think tank that provided Percy with advanced technology in exchange for test subjects. The Shop is also the group responsible for giving Michael his new hand. However, it turns out the new hand infected Michael’s blood with a nanoparticle that can be triggered at any moment to kill him.

Amanda promised to give Michael the antidote if Nikita kills the President. She also forbade Nikita from telling anyone or asking for help — if she were to do so, Michael would die. In response, Nikita told Michael that she wanted to get married at the end of the episode, which no doubt ties into the title of the ominously-named finale.

We also have stills from the episode:

These stills seem to indicate that Nikita has made the choice to assassinate the President, but Michael confronts her about it. Nikita, though, will likely be unable to watch Michael die and threatens to shoot him to keep him from stopping her. We also see Alex and Ryan, though the context of those shots is unclear.

And finally, the promo for “Til Death Do Us Part”:

The promo seems to indicate that Nikita goes through the assassination. If this is the case, our heroine is likely going to be caught by the Secret Service, making escape nearly impossible.

The good news, though, is that Nikita has been renewed for a fourth season, though we don’t know for how many episodes yet. This should give Team Nikita the chance to rescue their leader and take down The Shop.
