According to Nikita executive producer Craig Silvertein, this week’s episode, titled “Broken Home,” is going to take a deadly twist.
With the current uprising in Division, Nikita has been been nothing short of thrilling lately. But the twists and turns are just getting started. “A horribly shocking thing happens this week,” Silverstein tells TVLine.
It seems that thing will be the death of one of the core members of Team Nikita. “In my mind — with the exception of Percy — I don’t think we’ve really had a death like this,” Silverstein says.
“It’s a hero’s death for one of the members of our team, and [an actor or actress] who’s been a regular for so long… Sure, Ari was an amazing character, but he was a bad guy. So, I don’t think we’ve had this exact moment.”
The death is neither “a standard, big-moment sacrifice” nor “an off-the-cuff, middle-of-some-other-scene moment.” However, this will not be the only death this week as the Division mutiny takes a bloody turn, Silverstein teases.
In happier news, Silverstein also previews that the long-awaited Mikita shower scene will happen before season’s end. “It may not be in exactly the way everyone wants it — because I think when they’re asking for this scene, they want a sexy, soft core shower commercial, basically. We don’t do that, but they are both in a shower, wet and naked. So, that does happen,” he laughs.
