Brace yourselves, Niall Horan fans — it looks like the “Slow Hands” singer’s debut solo album is dropping much sooner than we all thought!

One Direction might be on hiatus, but it’s clear that Niall Horan is busier than ever. With two successful solo singles under his belt, and a solo tour currently in progress, Horan’s been doing a great job of showing the world that he’s got what it takes to stand out as a solo artist.

Now, it looks as though Horan is ready to give his fans what they’ve been eagerly waiting for ever since the Irish singer dropped is first single, “This Town”: a full-fledged debut solo album.

Horan took to Twitter on Thursday (September 14) to dish some pretty exciting details about his forthcoming album, including the name of the record, and more importantly, when we can expect to get our hands on it.

“It’s been a long time coming but I’m delighted to announce that my new album Flicker is out on the 20th of October,” tweeted Horan. “I hope you enjoy it.”

In addition to the exciting information, Horan also included a photo of the official album art for the record.

The singer chose to keep things simple for the cover, which features a close-up of his face along with the words “Niall Horan” and “Flicker” featured in white lettering on the top left hand corner.

Horan’s Flickerthanked fans for being respectful and “listening to every word and enjoying the music.”

If we’re to take Horan’s first two singles into consideration, we’re guessing the rest of the singer’s solo album will follow suit with the easy listening, acoustic guitar heavy vibe he’s been dishing out since he stepped out on his own.
