Find out who will be in serious jeopardy in The Newsroom season 3, and get a look at how the cast feels about the series wrapping up.

A few weeks ago we finally got some details for The Newsroom season 3 when Sorkin did an interview with EW, but this new video from HBO that takes us onto the set sheds even more light on what we can expect to see in season 3.

Check out the video and then see what we think are the most intriguing bits we can garner from what we see:

First of all, knowing that Neal is the one that Sorkin hinted at being “in jeopardy” is really exciting. It would have been easy for them to relinquish him to second class status in season 3 of The Newsroom, but instead, Sorkin put him front and center.

Secondly, the main focus of the News Night crew from the very beginning has been journalistic integrity, and knowing that Charlie is going to be doing battle with a group of people that are very social media conscious/interested is a whole new battle in that same war. (It was also nice to see B.J. Novak on the set, as we can’t wait to see his character in The Newsroom season 3.)

We also got our first look at how the cast are reacting to the series’ end. Jeff Daniels, Olivia Munn, Thomas Sadoski, and John Gallagher Jr. all talk briefly about how much fun has been had making The Newsroom and how sad they are to see it go. I’m sure we all agree that it has definitely been a fun ride, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for season 3.

Are you excited to see Neal as a central focus in ‘The Newsroom’s’ third season?
