It looks like the Newsroom cast is getting back to work, with star Jeff Daniels tweeting about his own return. What did he have to say?

As we reported earlier, Daniels’ co-star Emily Mortimer let slip in her HBO Connect Q&A that season 2 filming on The Newsroom would begin on November 12. As we speculated at the time, that may have simply been Mortimer’s return, and now it looks like the cast has gone back slightly earlier than expected.

Earlier this week, Daniels tweeted:

As if that wasn’t enough to tease and tantalize us Newsroom fanatics, Daniels’ next tweet seems to confirm a return by the entire Newsroom cast:

None of his co-stars have tweeted any confirmation on this – it’s too bad that Emily Mortimer isn’t on Twitter. And while we’re all atwitter, there is still no confirmation on the validity of showrunner Aaron Sorkin’s supposed Twitter account.
