While at the Breaking Dawn – Part 1 premiere in Los Angeles a week ago today, Part 2 cast members Janelle Froehlich and Amadou Ly teased an interesting plot addition which wasn’t found in the book.
However, even with the crazy amount of new vampires, author Stephenie Meyer and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg have created a new coven that were not in the books. They don’t just stand there and look pretty either, they have a pivotal role in the plot of the upcoming movie according to the actors that play them, Janelle Froehlich and Amadou Ly. “Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Rosenberg created the french coven to create a new component to the story. There’s a twist, and we may or may not be a part of it,” says Froehlich, who plays Yvette.
On past episodes of Imprint (our Twilight podcast) we’ve – somewhat jokingly – discussed the possibility of a plot change from the book in order to create a more epic finale than what was originally read by fans.
