A new Teen Wolf season 4 teaser trailer has landed online, giving us our first look at footage from the new season.
You can watch the 30-second teaser trailer in its entirety below. Note that this is just a teaser trailer and that we’re still awaiting a full trailer to give us a better look at what season 4 is going to be like.
The video starts off with the biggest tragedy of season 3, which was Allison’s death, and was coupled with the final shot of the defeated Void Stiles. “From the ashes,” the promo spells out across the screen, “rise.”
And that’s just what everyone seems to be trying to do this season. Although plenty of people died and horrible events took place in season 3, the remaining characters know they can’t go back to what their life was like beforehand. The only thing they can do now is keep moving forward.
Although brief, this teaser does give us a great look at what we can expect in season 4. We see some quick shots of Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia, Kira, and Derek before seeing some of them truly in action. Stiles and Lydia look to be teaming up for something in a dark hallway, Kira is using glow stick nunchucks to fight off another person, and Malia puts on her game face.
We also get a good glimpse at Kate, who looks a little different than she did at the end of season 3, along with two new baddies, one sporting a skull mask and the other not sporting a mouth. (Creepy!)
People go flying and our heroes look to be in the middle of the action already, but we’re also glad they decided to end the teaser trailer with a bit of humor. As Lydia and Stiles are buffeted by the wind outside the school, she looks over at him and says, “You seriously need to find something better than a baseball bat.”
We couldn’t agree more, Lydia.
Teen Wolf season 4 will premiere on Monday, June 23 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
