The main title sequence for Teen Wolf has been revamped ahead of the season 3B premiere on January 6.

You can watch the video below, thanks to FearNet.

The new title sequence bears a strong resemblance to the one we first saw when season 3 aired last summer. The difference now is that everything has a bit of a red tint, probably in reference to Scott’s new status as an Alpha. It also certainly gives the credits a much creepier and darker vibe.

The other new shots we get include the same mask we saw in the season 3B trailer, and some lightning at the very end of the clip. This lightning takes the place of the Nemeton that appears in 3A’s title sequence, so we have to wonder if it lightning or electricity will play a big role this year.

Earlier today, we got another clip from the season 3, episode 13 premiere, titled “Anchors.” In it, Scott began to lose control of his powers right in the middle of Beacon Hills High’s hallways. By the end of the clip, Stiles was declaring that not everything is in their heads, but is quite certainly happening to them in real life, too.

In the winter season of Teen Wolf, our heroes will be dealing with the consequences of the mid-season finale when they took the place of their parents and sacrificed themselves to the Nemeton. They survived, of course, but the cost will be great, and it will stick with them for the rest of their lives as a darkness around their hearts.

As you await the premiere on January 6 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV, be sure to check out our guide to all the new faces we’ll be seeing this season, as well as what happened in the first half of season 3 and what we can expect to go down in the second half.
