The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has a new trailer coming out this Wednesday and today we have six new images that are reportedly taken from the new trailer.

We saw quite a few new Hobbit images just a few days ago and got our first look at Thranduil and Hugo Weaving who will be reprising his role as Elrond. Now we have even more images from The Hobbit: An Unexpected journey, which look to come directly from the new trailer that will be released on Wednesday for the upcoming “Hobbit Day” which takes place on Bilbo and Frodo Baggins’ birthday – September 22.

Update: Seven more stills from tomorrow’s trailer have been published by Comic Book Movie, and have been added to the gallery below!

It’s been over a month now since director Peter Jackson announced that the film would now be a trilogy with the following names and release dates: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (December 14), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (December 13, 2013), and The Hobbit: There and Back Again which is headed to theaters just seven months later on July 18, 2014. Fans seem divided on whether The Hobbit has enough content to warrant three films, but one thing we can agree on is that we all believe in Peter Jackson.

We’ll have The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’s new trailer on Wednesday, so be sure to check back then.
