The folks at BBC revealed the first poster for BBC’s brand new series Atlantis, which is coming soon to BBC One.

The poster, seen below, depicts the three main characters. It seems that they’ve now casted Jason, who is in the center portrayed by Jack Donnelly! We also get our first official look at Pythagoras.

And here’s a fun little surprise: It looks like Game of Thrones‘ Mark Addy will be in this new series as well. He’ll be portraying Hercules, and seeing as he’s on the first poster for the series, we can probably expect him to be either a major or recurring character.

Helmed by the Misfits show runner Howard Overman and produced by Merlin creators Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps, Atlantis follows the young Jason who arrives in the magical, fantastical (but ultimately doomed) city where he encounters familiar figures from the myths we know so well.

Production for the show started in April of this year, and the show will premiere on BBC America on November 23rd, same day as the Doctor Who 50th anniversary. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any and all developments regarding this epic tale.
