In a new Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters still, we get to see what Luke, Annabeth, and Grover looked like when they were younger.

The official Twitter account told fans that if they tweeted enough using the #PercyJackson hashtag, we would get a look at three characters as we’ve never seen them before.

After the 10,000 tweets were reached, they released this photo of Luke, Annabeth, and Grover:

This scene comes from the flashback of Luke, Annabeth, Grover, and Thalia as they make their way toward Camp Half-Blood. They’re being chased by monsters, both because they’re demi-gods and because Thalia was the daughter of Zeus. Hades was none too happy that Zeus broke his promise not to have children, so he sent even more monsters after the kids.

Right before they reach Camp Half-Blood, Thalia risks her life to save her friends, otherwise none of them would’ve made it to the camp. She does so successfully, and Zeus turns her into a pine tree in order to keep her soul from going to Hades.

This is the tree that helps to protect Camp Half-Blood, and the tree that is being poisoned in the beginning of the movie. Without the tree, all of Camp Half-Blood is in danger, and that’s why Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Tyson, and Clarisse must go after the Golden Fleece.

Earlier today Tyson was added to the Sea of Monsters Compendium. We got a good look at him in his shades, as well as a description of his strengths and a quote from the movie.

Sea of Monsters opens up on August 7, starring Logan Lerman (Percy), Alexandra Daddario (Annabeth), Brandon T. Jackson (Grover), Jake Abel (Luke), Leven Rambin (Clarisse), and Douglas Smith (Tyson). Stanley Tucci will play Dionysus, Nathan Fillion will play Hermes, and Anthony Stewart Head will replace Pierce Brosnan as Chiron.
